Tension Sensor

This Tension Sensor is developed by Wuxi Ruisida Electric. We have over 8 years of experience in constant tension control systems for stretch wrapping applications.

This sensor is mounted on the film unwind mechanism and is used to measure film tension in real time. The measured signal is transmitted to the controller, which automatically adjusts motor speed to maintain a stable tension value throughout the wrapping cycle.

This closed-loop control process ensures consistent film tension, preventing film slack or breakage and improving load stability during transportation. Compared with open-loop systems, this solution provides significantly more stable and accurate wrapping performance.

This sensor adopts background suppression diffuse photoelectric technology, enabling stable detection of dark-colored targets.

Conventional photoelectric sensors often experience detection instability when working with black objects, as dark surfaces absorb light signals. This sensor is specifically designed to maintain reliable performance when detecting dark pallets and black film rolls.

The red light spot allows for easy alignment during installation and adjustment, providing clear visual positioning of the detection area.

The detection distance is adjustable according to application requirements, such as different film roll sizes or mounting positions.

The sensor is designed to operate reliably under varying ambient lighting conditions, including strong sunlight and low-light industrial environments.

We are ISO 9001 certified. Each sensor undergoes full functional testing and aging inspection before shipment.

In 2021, we shipped 5,000 wrapper control systems, many of which integrated this tension sensor as part of the closed-loop control system.

This sensor is suitable for turntable stretch wrappers, mobile wrappers, and film winding equipment requiring accurate tension feedback.

We provide a 3-year warranty for the complete unit and long-term technical support. For international customers, we offer remote troubleshooting and online technical assistance.
